Ski / Health & Fitness Exhibit

Norwegians are known for their active lifestyles. Even snow and mountains are not impediments and actually offer opportunities for people to get outside and get moving. Skiing, hiking, skating, boating, bicycling – Norwegians love fresh air and the outdoor life. Indoors, too, these Scandinavians are health-conscious, striving to eat well and take care of their bodies. Healthful movements -- organics, going green, and “slow foods" -- are taking hold in Norway.

At the Ski / Health & Fitness Exhibit, you can do everything from climb a three-story high climbing wall to talk to a fitness expert about how to create your own personal workout regime. There will also be a ski area to learn about the history of skiing in Norway and several health and fitness experts, including a naturopathic doctor, will talk about ways to live a healthy life.
